Paperlive
Terms & Conditions

This is a lawful and binding agreement between you, the user (referred to as "user" or "you") of the Programs (as defined below), and Paperlive that sets forth the conditions that govern your use of the Platform. Paperlive provides and operates the website https://paperlive.in/, as well as the information, services, and other materials found there. Paperlive provides professionally curated online higher education and industry-relevant program and career guidance services ("Programs").

Please review our policies available on the Platform (collectively referred to as the "Terms") that outline the rules for using the Platform and its Programs. By agreeing to these Terms in any way or by accessing the website, you confirm your consent to comply with, be governed by, and follow these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you are not permitted to access or use the Programs, and any subsequent use will be deemed unauthorized.

Each program might have its own specific terms regarding refunds, deferrals, payments, and other related aspects. Additionally, corporate clients might have entered into distinct written agreements with us. In case of any discrepancies, these separate agreements will take precedence over these terms where there is a conflict.

These Terms will govern Paperlive-hosted websites, WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, Instagram pages, Facebook pages, email/SMS/phone communications, and other social media platforms operated by Paperlive, all of which are considered part of the ‘Platform.’ You acknowledge that some components of the Platform are managed by third-party service providers, and you agree to adhere to their terms and conditions. Paperlive will not be liable for any service interruptions caused by these third-party providers.

We may update these Terms periodically without prior notice. It is your responsibility to check this page frequently. By continuing to use the Platform and Programs after any changes have been made, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the updated Terms. If you do not agree with any modifications to these Terms, you should refrain from using the Platform or Programs.

Paperlive does not assert that the Platform is available or legally permitted to operate in all geographic locations, nor that the Platform, or any information, services, or products offered through it, are suitable or accessible in other areas. Accessing the Platform from regions where it, or any of its content or features, is illegal is strictly prohibited. If you choose to access the Platform, you do so voluntarily and at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.

User Registration and Delivery of Services

Once you have paid the Program fees—either partially or in full, depending on the Program—Paperlive will provide you with the Program’s terms of use and grant you access. An invoice may be sent to you along with an email confirmation, which will serve as proof of delivery following successful payment.

In certain exceptional situations, if Paperlive grants you access to a Program before payment is completed and does not receive the payment within the specified timeframe, Paperlive reserves the right to withdraw your access to the Program at its discretion, without prior notice.

In addition to the registration process, we may collect information about you and your performance in the Programs as part of your use of the Platform. Some of this information may be Personally Identifiable Information. We may use, maintain, and store this information to provide services to you now and in the future, and may share it with our Educational Partners or third parties for service provision or marketing purposes. For instance, as detailed in our Privacy Policy, we might share certain materials or information about you, including your grades or scores, with third parties. Access to the Programs is restricted to those specifically granted access by Paperlive.

Additional requirements apply to Students. As a student, you agree not only to the terms mentioned above but also to register with the intent to complete any relevant assignments associated with the Platform or Program you have enrolled in.

Use of Programs

Paperlive reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any Program or live lectures/webinars, and to alter, modify, or rearrange the schedule of topics, as well as the point value or weight of assignments, tests, quizzes, exams, projects, and other evaluations of progress. Additionally, Paperlive may, at its sole discretion, limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the Platform or Programs, including Paperlive coaches, support services, evaluation services, or certifications. Paperlive may also modify or discontinue any services related to its Programs at its discretion. You agree that Paperlive will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations. There is no obligation for Paperlive to maintain or support the Platform or Programs or any associated services.

Paperlive will not be liable for any unavailability of the Platform or any part of it due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, disease, revolution, epidemics, riots, civil disturbances, strikes, lockouts, floods, fires, satellite failures, public utility failures, man-made disasters, or any other causes.

Participants in Paperlive’s online live lectures and webinars will receive access details via email. You agree not to share this access with any third party. If you are unable to attend an online live lecture or webinar, please notify Paperlive in advance.

You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining any equipment or ancillary services needed to connect to, access, receive, or use the Platform, including hardware devices, software, and internet, wireless, broadband, phone, or other mobile communication services. You must ensure that such equipment and services are compatible with the Platform and bear all charges associated with their use in connection with the Platform and Program.

Certification

Paperlive is NOT a university but an education service provider offering certificate programs.

You will receive a certificate of successful completion of a Program (“Program Certificate”) only after meeting all the criteria and requirements set by Paperlive.

Additionally, you agree that Paperlive may retain your information on its systems even after your account is terminated or you are no longer enrolled in a Program.

Miscellaneous Provisions

You attest that you are at least eighteen years old by using the Platform and accepting the Terms. If you are under the age of 18 or under the legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by the Terms. Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the Programs.

Under these Terms or any Program-specific agreements, Paperlive may freely assign or transfer any portion of its rights or obligations. Without Paperlive's prior written consent, you may not assign or transfer any part of your rights or delegate your obligations under these Terms or Program-specific terms.

The laws of India shall govern, interpret, and enforce these Terms and any Program-specific terms shared with you. These laws apply to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within India, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi for any legal action or other proceedings brought by Paperlive, you, or any third party to enforce these Terms or Program-specific terms or in connection with any matter relating to the Platform or Programs. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to make all reasonable efforts to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations. If such efforts fail, the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1956, as amended ("Act") will govern the arbitration of any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms or Program-specific terms, including any question about their existence, validity, or termination. Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator chosen by Paperlive, and the arbitration will take place in Delhi, with all proceedings conducted in English.

If any provision of these Terms or any Program-specific terms shared with you is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision will be deemed severable from the remaining provisions, which will remain valid and enforceable. Paperlive will not be liable under these Terms or Program-specific terms for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, terrorism, internet outages, governmental actions, national emergencies, strikes, or labor disputes.

If someone hacks or tampers with this page to make unauthorized changes to these Terms, Paperlive will not be responsible for any damage or issues that arise as a result.

The failure of Paperlive to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms or any Program-specific terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of these Terms or Program-specific terms to be invalid, the parties agree that the court should give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

These Terms and any Program-specific terms shared with you constitute the entire agreement between you and Paperlive regarding the subject matter herein.
